These are pictures I took last fall (in a moving car). The barn quilts run along a barn quilt trail. I hope to be able to photograph all of the barn quilts on the trail someday (not in a moving car) and I think I might be able to, seeing as
we are moving right where all of these barn quilts happen to be. Yup, that's right! we are finally moving to a place of our own and a longtime dream of mine and my husband is coming true. My heart is overflowing with thankfulness and gratitude! I wanted to let you know why I've been away and that I'll be back to sewing and blogging (and e-mails) soon. I miss you all and can't wait to chat with you again! I hope you all are well.

Our barn is too far from the road to be seen. I want to put a barn quilt on the fence near our mailbox someday :) Congrats on your upcoming move!

How exciting! I've never seen a real barn quilt, I live in the wrong part of the world, I guess.....
I would love to ride the Quilt Trail. i have one on my garden shed...maybe you could swing by my place in VA. :)

I love barn quilts! I want to make one for my little red barn. it would have to be smaller, but I think it would be a cute idea! Happy your dreams are coming true! Cute little neighbor you have!
